MyCSVdb

A Multi-Platform Personal Database

Capabilities

  • Provides the user with a simple database application for storing personal data (e.g. web account URLs, usernames, passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, credit card and PIN numbers, etc);
  • The user can password protect (encrypt) the saved data - or not.
  • When the database is saved as clear text (i.e. not encrypted) the contents are formatted using the Comma Separated Values (CSV) standard and so can be read by most other database and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Excel);
  • Provides 'one-click' functionality to open a URL in a browser, cut & paste or auto-type username and password data into a web form, or compose email to an address stored in the database;
  • Is implemented using Java enabling the application to run on multiple platforms, e.g. Windows, Linux, MacOS and Android.
  • Allows the user's data to be accessable to multiple devices via the 'Cloud'.
